Search drawer

Search drawer is the section that slides out from the right when you select the search icon in the header. The drawer features the input box and shows some first search results in each category and the 'See all results' button that redirects to a separate 'Search' page. In theme settings, you can disable the search drawer or generally turn off the search option for your store. Note, that you can select certain categories to search across within your store in the Shopify Search and Discovery app.

GENERAL

Color scheme

Choose a separate color scheme for the section.

Image ratio

Choose the view and orientation of images within the drawer.

Results per category

Adjust the maximal number of search results that may appear in the drawer for each category. To see all the results select the 'See all results' button that redirects to a separate 'Search' page.

Enable extended search

Select to extend the number of properties for predictive search. Learn about storefront search in Shopify.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Add recommended queries that appear in the drawer before customers start searching and help them in further navigation.

Heading

Fill in the heading to group the queries under, for example, 'Most searched'.

Recommended queries

Fill in the queries for the list of recommendations. Place each query in a separate line.
