Announcement bar

Announcement bar is the section that shows announcements at the top of the page. In desktop view, it also features functional buttons: language and currency selectors, and icons with links to your social media accounts. Use it to let customers know about current sales, new collections, and any other information you want to highlight.

GENERAL

Show only on home page

Select to show the announcement bar on the home page only.

Color scheme

Choose a separate color scheme for the section.

Width

Choose the width of the section on the page.

Show navigation arrows

Select to show arrows on both sides of announcements so that you know there are more to see.

AUTOPLAY

Autoplay mode

Choose the way the announcements change on the screen. Note that the autoplay pauses when you place the pointer on the announcements on desktop or swipe them left or right on mobile.

Disabled	turns off the autoplay
One-at-a-time	turns on the instant change of one announcement to another on the screen

Autoplay speed

Adjust the announcement change speed.

LANGUAGE SELECTOR

Show language selector

For the desktop view, select to let customers choose the store language from this section. Note that Shopify themes are originally in English, and you should add translations to enable language selection. For additional details regarding multiple languages, please, contact Shopify support.

CURRENCY SELECTOR

Show currency selector

For the desktop view, select to let customers choose the currency from the announcement bar. For additional details regarding multiple currencies, please, contact Shopify support.

SOCIAL MEDIA ICONS

Show social media icons

For the desktop view, select to show icons with links to your social media. Add links in Theme settings > Social media.

PADDINGS

Add side paddings

Select to add extra space on the sides between the section and the screen.

Desktop top padding

For the desktop view, adjust the space between the section and the top of the screen.

Desktop bottom padding

For the desktop view, adjust the space between the section and the following element on the page.

Mobile top padding

For the mobile view, adjust the space between the section and the top of the screen.

Mobile bottom padding

For the mobile view, adjust the space between the section and the following element on the page.

ADD ANNOUNCEMENTS

Add up to six announcements as blocks to the announcement bar section.
