Step 2: Create a metaobject

To create the metaobject for product siblings, follow the steps below:

1. In your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Custom data.

2. In the Metaobject definitions section down below, select Add definition.

3. Insert the Name, for example, "Product siblings".

4. In the Field section, select Add field.

5. In the dropdown list, find the category "Reference" and select Product.

6. In the modal window, insert the Name, for example, "Product list".

7. IMPORTANT: Switch to List of products.

8. Hit Add to add the field to the metaobject and close the modal window.

9. Make sure the metaobject has Storefronts access turned on in the “Options” section.

10. Save the metaobject.
