Featured blog posts

Featured blog posts is the section where the selected posts appear as slides that feature the blog post image, author information, and introduction.

GENERAL

Color scheme

Choose a separate color scheme for the section.

Color background

Select to apply the color scheme of the section to its background.

Width

Choose the width of the section on the page.

Show author

Select to show the authors of the blog posts on slides.

Show date

Select to show the date when the posts were added to your blog.

Show comment count

Select to show the number of comments on each blog post.

Show excerpt

Select to show the introductory text of each blog post.

Show 'Read more' link

Select to show the links that redirect to the whole blog post on a separate 'Blog posts' page.

PADDINGS

Add side paddings

Select to add extra space on the sides between the section and the screen.

Top padding

Adjust the space between the section and the previous element on the page.

Bottom padding

Adjust the space between the section and the following element on the page.

ADD BLOG POST

Add blog posts of the selected blog as blocks to this section. They appear as slides with the blog post image, author information, and introduction.

Blog post

Select an article to show as a slide in the section. Choose any blog post from the list within the selected blog or create a new blog post in your admin.

If you want the slide to feature an image other than the blog post cover image, select it from your library or the free images collection. Note that the free images you use are also saved to your library. You can further edit the uploaded image: add a focal point and fill in an alt text.
